TADFlife – Network and Supervisory Board meeting (Vilnius, Lithuania) – Feb. 2020

The fourth network meeting took place in Vilnius, Lithuania from the 10th to 13th of February 2020. In addition to the ESR updates and the SB Meeting several external presenters and specialists were invited along to share their expertise.

The meeting was opened with the presentation „Taking OLED’s for a Spin – Is light Generation in TADF OLEDs spin-dependent?“ from Professor Vladimir Dyakonov of the University of Würzburg.

During the network meeting the ESR’s received a ‚Time Management and Self Organisation Workshop‘ from Vytautas Pugacevskis of the Vilnius Business School. The first part of the workshop „Device Design and Optimisation“, hosted by Fluxim and Simbeyond, also took place. Included was the talk „OLED’s, Technology Overview“ from Merck. The second part of the workshop will take place at the next network meeting in Glasgow in August.

The network meeting was closed with the presentation „Solid State Lighting Systems“ from Pranas Vitta, University of Vilnius.

In addition to all the hard work, there was time for that all important networking which was assisted by a walking city tour and a local dinner in the very beautiful and friendly city of Vilnius!
