Prize for TADFlife PhD student

Simbeyonds Early Stage Researcher Christoph Hauenstein attended the 24th International Krutyn Summer School with the topic „Next Generation Organic Light Emitting Devices“. The Summer School presented a unique opportunity to attend a series of lectures, focused on TADF and other advances in the organic electronics field, given by international and prominent speakers, while enjoying the remote and lush beauty of the Masurian nature reserve. Christoph contributed to the event with a poster and a talk using Bumblebee simulations on the „Effects of deconfinement on the photoluminescence of TADF host-guest systems“, which was awarded the „Best Talk of a Graduate Student“ at the event. 

TADFlife Spring School (Lake Garda, Italy)

The Spring School took place in Garda, Lake Garda, Italy from March 25th – 29th 2019 and was the first meeting which all of the PI’S and ESR’s attended. The Primary aim of the school was to facilitate the building of the ESR Network in addition to introducing the TADFlife Project and the various concepts. The Spring School was a huge success and fun was had by all!


 

ITN Coordinators Day – 23rd November 2018 – Brussels

On Friday 23rd of November Anna Köhler (Project Coordinator) and Claire Schappert (Project Manager) attended the H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions ITN Coordinators’ day in Brussels. It was a very informative and interesting day which provided in-depth insights into running an EU Project and gave us the opportunity to meet up with the EU Coordinators.
